You know… some people *really* don’t like that I swear sometimes and are so turned off by it, or they tell me how bad it is, or they complain about me to other people because of it.
And some people literally CHOOSE ME as their coach & mentor because they enjoy it and how “real” and “imperfect” I am.
Truthfully; I choose to be unscripted and inappropriate and weird and fully myself BECAUSE that’s the type of person I am attracted to and enjoy working with and following.
Anyone who tries to be “too polished or perfect” online, to me is a huge turn off. 🤢
Why? Because it’s UNRELATABLE.
So, I guess what I’m saying is there are always going to be people and clients out there who like you for YOU.
And there will be people who don’t; but there are other people & businesses for them. (And you can choose to wish them well vs stooping to their level and complaining about them). 🤗
P.S. I’m not saying you should swear in your marketing, if it doesn’t feel right for you, you just need to be authentic and stop trying to be too perfect.
P.P.S. The funny thing is I don’t really swear much in real life lol it mainly comes out when I’m writing posts or sometimes on a video, but like, almost never in front of my family or friends. 🤷♀️
COACHING QUESTION: “how would I be showing up online if I stopped trying to be so perfect all the time?”
